Symposium "ImprovEAW- Improving mutual recognition of European Arrest Warrants through Common Practical Guidelines"
On 27 and 28 June 2022, our symposium will be held in Lublin, Poland, with the objective of discussing the project`s CPG, report and recommendations
Practice shows that it often comes to problems in issuing and executing European Arrest Warrants and filling in the EAW form. This may relate to European rules being unclear or national practice diverging considerably in the Member States of the European Union. This 2-years long project focuses on the practice of European Arrest Warrant proceedings between the Member States, as well as of surrender proceedings with Norway, Iceland and the United Kingdom. At the conference, we will discuss the main difficulties in practice and recommend solutions.
The symposium will be held on hybrid mode.
